We just had one great weekend! My sister Carrie and her oldest girl came to visit us from Utah! I was in heaven, and Andy had fun gaining back his 'favorite uncle status'. (Sorry bro's, Andy still reigns). We played at the beach, and realized it was a beach cleanup day-we missed the memo:) So while others cleaned up trash around us, we soaked in the warmth, pretty funny!

We spent a day at Knotts Berry. Romy had a blast, here she is watching a show. She got her face painted, and wanted to leave it on for 20 more days:)

These two were a crack-up together. Maren would wake up every morning saying, "Romy? Romy? Romy?" wondering if she was awake yet. She(Maren) was her little shadow all weekend long. We think Maren matured about 2 years this weekend having a bigger kid around!!

I really love my sister! I have looked up to her and followed her in many ways throughout our lives. (This proved to be annoying in our earlier years..) I'm taller and bigger than her now, and I know she's releived bc I can't borrow her clothes and give them back stained anymore. Thanks for everything Care!

Paint, hair, and expanding middles

Since we moved here, we've started going to Home Depot's Kid's Workshops that they put on. If you haven't heard about this, definitely check it out. Once a month they put on a free workshop for children to come make a free project. Your child gets a neat HD apron and button for each project they complete. Sometimes we make it at the store, and sometimes we bring it home, and yesterday we brought it home. This month was a rain guage. This was Maren's 1st time being INTERSTED in painting, and she really liked it! Next month: Butterfly catchers. Who doesn't like Home Depot??

She is really growing hair these days!! It is usually hard to capture in pictures, and our parents get only glimpses via Skype, but here's how long it's getting, and it's just as blonde as ever!
This is also her favorite place to be when I'm getting ready...up on the counter, going through my makeup bag, or sorting my jewelery:)

When you're pregnant, sometimes you do things that you wouldn't normally do. One night after we had started eating, I looked up at Andy and he was kind of staring at me, not really eating. I laughed, asked him what was wrong, or if it tasted gross, and he told me he wanted to reenact what he saw as he looked across the table at me....then he proceeded to HUNCH over his plate, SLOUCH down, and put his mouth about 3 inches above his food!! What? Could I really be doing that?

Hehe, I guess so, I was SO hungry, and SO tired that I needed to be REALLY close to my food, and that is what inspired him to make me this:

It's just an empty box, but it actually raises my plate towards me...great idea! Now I don't have to rest my plate on my growing stomach, I can eat civilly:) lol
