Maren has been wanting to ride her bike all over lately. This morning she wanted to ride it to the store. I told her it was too far, and she just kept insisting. We usually walk to the store, which is pretty close, but she has never ridden(sp?) her bike that far. Her b-day is in about 1 month, and I hope we find a bigger bike for her present:) She told me the other day she was going to get a princess one. I asked her with what money? And she said, "my bike money". Maren, I didn't know you had a 'bike money' account:)

I am such a fan of 'responsibilities' charts. She gets stickers for positive choices she makes like: doing a chore, helping with Lauren, choosing to be happy instead of whiney, etc. When her chart gets full, she earns 1$. This has also cured the asking in the store, 'can I have this??' when we walk down the isles. Now all I have to say is, 'it's 2$, do you have the money?' Anyways,
here's what she chose this time after earning her dollar....fake nails. Does anyone recognize these?! I used to buy them when I was young. I felt SO cool with them on. I remember playing cash register or type-writer with them on, and loving how they felt while I pushed the buttons! Nice choice Mare.

I'm eating a Twix as I type..

Candy bars are really tasty. Well, we just returned this week from a trip to see our family's in Utah. It was a whirlwind and a blast! I'll post pics as I get them. (We forgot our camera.) Here are some pics of our lives lately:)

I walked around the corner the other night to this. The cat had her legs tied together. Who would have done that? Maren, no, she can't tie knots yet...Lauren, no. Andy? You guessed it. It was really funny watching her try to walk:)

We visited a really cool park with our friends the other day. It had indoor playground and colonial-style buildings to climb around it! It's a child's dream park!

I've been painting lately. My sis had a handsome little boy and named him Payne. Maybe he'll grow up to be a surfer and come visit his aunt in California...

Here's our little Lauren. I like this pic because it shows the water on her face. We recently found out why she loves dirt so much....I guess some children who are anemic crave dirt and clay because there's something in it that satisfies their lack of iron!! Who the heck knows if this is true, but it was really funny researching it on the net! We were at a swimming pool yesterday, and while standing by the edge in the pool, Lauren starts forcing herself out of my arms. I let her out and off she goes towards a dirt\grass area where she bends down ready to eat a huge handful of dirt and rocks....I can't believe this girl:)

We had a blast yesterday! We sold lemonade at the park. Maren had a really fun time, and many people were thirsty! One guy came back 3 times. I have a feeling we'll be doing this again!
