Our lives lately

Here's Lauren and Farmer Jed. She doesn't mind being on her tummy as long as there's something(or someone) to look at.
On datenight last Friday, Maren told our babysitter that these clothes(which belong to Lauren) were in fact hers...When we went in to check on her, we saw that she actually had Lauren's diaper on too...ha! We LAUGHED so hard. At church our sweet babysitter said,"they seemed a little small."
This is something new to us...specific to CA. When you are done with something that could be of worth to someone else, just leave it out by the curb and it should be gone in a matter of hours...no sign needed! lol. Just be careful to not forget to put your wanted belongings away each day, or someone may think they're up for grabs....

We're excited to have family come this weekend as we bless Lauren in church! Yeah! Have a good week.

Our lives lately

Everyone is excited about going back to school, and it seems kind of weird not having a child that age! So our routine won't change much, other than what time of day I drive past the elementary school near us(to avoid traffic).

These two don't look much alike at all. Lauren has smile to go around for anyone, and is getting the best chubs around, just like Maren did.

Here's Maren taking Teddy for a hike. She has big plans for this bear. We just washed him and were reminded that his original color is orange, not dishwater brown.

A few other fun things that have been happening. Our ward had a 24th of July celebration at the pool. We had dinner and swam and it was fun to see people 'diving' that you usually see in church clothes!!
Here's a cute little shot of our baby. She is such a doll and smiles all the time for us. Sometimes I'll catch her smiling at me when I'm not looking at her.
And here's our firstborn. (weird choice of words, I know) She's enjoyed this little river that ends in the ocean. It has water, but no waves..perfect! Happy August.

We had a great time camping in Utah. Every other year we do a family vacay in Oregon, and this was our off year, so we congregated in Bear Lake and had a blast. Grandma is always prepared with the things kids love! A few of my favorites were books, marshmallow shooters, and boondoggle(sp?). It was just wonderful watching Maren interact with her cousins.
Here's our campsite, we had a great time talking and riding, and doing our family triathlon...a recent new tradition.

Here's Lauren and her closest cousin, Graham. They both did really well on this adventure!
On our way back to CA, we saw Grandma and Grandpa Hall and the family. It was so fun to get together! And thanks to my Grandpa who let us stay with him on our way through St. George.

Wow

I was going to post about our weekend activities, but this just became more important...
