Picture time

Family pic. time is so funny. Our friend Liz took these for us. We were joking about the website that has all those ridiculous and funny family pictures on it. Has anyone else seen this? Sure enough, we had one those, Maren looked like she was strangling Lauren. Here's what we got:

This one wasn't planned, but it shows a lot about what current state they're in:)

Here's Lauren yesterday. She is such a tease! Not many see her personality in public, but she sure has one.
I wanted to really make sure we had a palm tree in one of our pics. I also had to make sure Maren wore her Vans. California is in our blood now I think:)

Butterflies

I have always loved to do hair. I just really like to create things, I guess. I am really excited that Maren's hair finally fits in a ponytail!! It makes her look really old.

Andy and I got to go up for a night at girls camp last week. We got to see the skits, and the drama and the cheers and everything else that accompanies a week of teenage girls altogether. It was fantastic seeing the girls in a new atmosphere. They are wonderful leaders-all of them. I think the youth HAVE to be these days, or they'll fall.

There was a little canopy to look out over the canyons at camp. We took advantage of the quiet time without two little girls by our sides!!

A few days ago, our friends Jack and Daisy came over to play. Andy loved every minute of having a male in his presence! He wanted to do all the little projects that Andy was doing. How cute!

I've recently started a new soccer league about 45 minutes away. I'm grateful for a husband who supports me in this! We play on turf, and have great competition. The funnest part is that for the later games, we get to play under the lights!! It's good to have soccer in my life. That may sound silly or juvenile, but the other sports\exercise out there doesn't get me as excited as soccer does.

Maren is getting ready for preschool in September. I don't know if she has hidden fears, but her happy face and words have shown me that she can't wait for it to start. I'm just excited for her to meet more kids her age on a regular basis. Our church nursery has no one her age.

Have a great week!
