Blessing our babies

We blessed just one baby this month, but making the title plural sounded better:)  We were so lucky to have both parents come to celebrate with us!  Here's some pics to tell what we've been up to these past weeks.

Hanging lanters: Target dollar section:)

Brookie is BY FAR our smiliest baby.  She'll be smiling at anyone before they make eye contact.  I am really enjoying this little doll.  Even though Maren and Lauren weren't necessarily HARDER, I was just more stressed and uptight during the baby months.  For some reason, I'm relaxing and going with the flow and it's working for us.

Went to our favorite beach spot with the Halls.  We were able to have them for 10 days, which is now possible bc there's a place for them to stay!!

The girls think its so silly when they get up on the roof.  While driving in the car, they ask a lot if we're on a bridge, "are we on top of someone's head right now?"

The best pic:)

Maren had her 1st dentist appt.  Success!

Our garden is almost all planted.  This single activity makes me happy everytime I'm outside.  Easily pleased I guess.  But who doesn't LOVE home grown tomatoes?!!?  We haven't had great luck with gardens.  But we keep trying and usually something turns out each time that we love.  On the list: pumpkins, watermelons, tomatoes, mint, 2 varieties of squash, beets, peppers, onions, lemons, strawberries.

We have snails galore!  (Which doesn't mix well with gardens!)  The girls find poor, innocent snails to adopt each day and name them, and feed them.  I remember adopting spiders and salamanders when I was little, so snails are fine with me!

Big, Middle-sized, and Small

We've been cruising lately.  It's felt nice.  I'm grateful for simple moments like this above, everyone tells me before I know it, they'll be doing this in a real car!

We live within walking distance from the High School.  It's always fun to catch a game in the evenings.  This one is Lacrosse.

My mom and sister and one of her daughters came to visit us!  We went to Knott's Berry.

Brooklynn got some much anticipated Grandma time.

3 Apple girls..Maren, Ivy and Lauren.

Lauren is easily distracted:)

Went to Little Corona, with beautiful weather!

Each cousin pulling a silly face. We had such a blast.  The best moments being watching the cousins pick up right where they left off with eachother!!

We're getting really excited for General Conference.  We're trying 'conference concessions' this year.  They earn coins for listening well and answering questions, then inbetween sessions, they can buy prizes or snacks.

Before we go to bed, Andy and I peek at the girls each night.  One night we found they had crawled in the same bed, so cute!

Here's our chubby baby.  She is so sweet, we call her our cinnamon bun. lol!

Our snail collection from the yard.  Notice there is salt to the side of the bucket...they won't be alive for long:)

A sweet lady in our ward made these shirts for our girls, 'Big Sis, Mid Sis, and Lil' Sis'.

I think Brooklynn is finally starting to tolerate us!! Happy Easter and more to come soon.
