A few of the families we know have gotten Knott's Berry passes this year, and we joined the bandwagon! They're inexpensive, it's really close to where we live, and it's never crowded! They have a kid's area called Camp Snoopy, and Maren LOVES it!! Here we are on the train. She was unsure of some of the rides, but warmed up really quickly when she saw other kids having a blast!! When you ask her what she rode on, she says, 'the choo-choo!'

This picture makes me laugh loudly each time I look at it!! On this ride the child has to push and pull their own lever to make their cart move around the track. We weren't sure Maren would understand it, so we put her in front of everyone else, but she caught on as you can see!! She looked like a miniature mine worker pulling back and forth, back and forth. It was hilarious and so darn cute!

We're looking forward to the next time! And I'm looking forward to Andy coming along with us to ride the rides that make my stomach churn right now:)

First off, the dogs are BETTER!! A miracle has occurred, and the situation has improved:)

Here's what we've been doing lately-not a whole lot new. This picture is really flattering of us, I know... And although it's blurry, the sign in the background says, 'Cafe Rio'. Yup, it finally came to the state of CA. As we were pulling up, Andy told me he bets there are a lot of members of the church in there eating, and I say, no way-this is California. But sure enough, it was LDS packed:)

Here's innocent little Maren. She loves to play with these Dora memory cards each day. She is really starting to take off with exploring things, and soaking up knowledge. It's a blast trying to come up with activities and experiences that will stretch her mind. Kids are super smart!!

Here's Andrew and Maren swinging in the hammock. Andy got this while in Chile, and we finally put it up. Maren loves this boy, as he treats her so nicely:) He is knows how to play and let her 'win' at the things that are important to her!

I'm feeling pretty great still. I'm 25 weeks, and can feel her moving and kicking a lot. Being pregnant this 2nd time is quite different than the first. Although I don't get that giddy feeling that there is a person growing in my tummy, I get more of an excited anticipation that this one will be so much fun like Maren is.

You have GOT to help us...

Have any of you ever owned one of these or lived next to one? Well, we live right next door to 2, TWO!!! These specific chiwawas are barkers! They do not stop yapping until their owner tells them to stop. Anything sets them off, and when the owner is gone, it's usually hours of almost CONSTANT yapping. We can do nothing in our yard w\o them barking away at us.

What do we do?? It's really hard to deal with yapping dogs throughout the day. We've talked to the owner 4 times and nothing has really changed.

Give us some advice PLEASE!! (bb guns or poisoned meat are not an option:)
