A few of the families we know have gotten Knott's Berry passes this year, and we joined the bandwagon! They're inexpensive, it's really close to where we live, and it's never crowded! They have a kid's area called Camp Snoopy, and Maren LOVES it!! 
Here we are on the train. She was unsure of some of the rides, but warmed up really quickly when she saw other kids having a blast!! When you ask her what she rode on, she says, 'the choo-choo!'

This picture makes me laugh loudly each time I look at it!! On this ride the child has to push and pull their own lever to make their cart move around the track. We weren't sure Maren would understand it, so we put her in front of everyone else, but she caught on as you can see!! She looked like a miniature mine worker pulling back and forth, back and forth. It was hilarious and so darn cute!
We're looking forward to the next time! And I'm looking forward to Andy coming along with us to ride the rides that make my stomach churn right now:)
