We've had a blast with Andy's brother and his wife, Jake and Natalie here! They came and stayed with us while they attended the CHA(craft & hobby association) trade show. They ordered many awesome new lines for 2009(for their store). You can see them here: croppinparadise.blogspot.com/ and croppinparadise.com/.

We got to visit the temple grounds, drive along Santa Monica beach, and sit around our table eating In-n-Out burger. Andy and I realized yesterday evening how much we will miss them! Even though they had a lot to do while they were here, we had great chats and fun times together. Because Andy and Jake look so much alike, you could tell Maren would get them confused at first! I'll post recent pictures soon.

The title of this post goes out to Andy, Jake and Nat :) Probably could be the theme for the trip??

I want to play soccer someday..

Today I went with my momma to a soccer game and cheered on my friend Morgan. She is in my ward, and plays goalie for her high school team. I may not cheer loud right now, but my shirt said what I couldn't say!! Go Morgan!!

Yesterday, Maren and I went to the beach for a little bit with our friend\missionary companion, Ayu. It was so peaceful, and warm! Because it was the middle of the week, it was pretty bare.
Here's an attempt at showing you what our toenails look like right now...they're pink. Andy got me polish so Maren and I can have matching nails! Thanks A!

And here is Ms. Maren after church last Sunday. That is how I feel too sometimes Mare-Bear! She's really changing lately...rolling over, smiling, laughing, doing this wiggle thing with her head like she's shaking it back and forth saying, 'no'! What a blast she is for us.

So you may say: what does the title of the post have to do with the pictures? Well, if....by chance...any of you have a 4 day weekend(or a 3 or a 2 or a 1 day) and have nothing to do, COME SEE US! We'll promise you a roof over your heads, a home cooked meal, and lots of fun times......hehehe! We hope everyone is doing well, take care, and have a great Thursday.

We went to a happy place...and some updates

So the writing may be a little weird on this post, but here we go! We've had a lot of fun these past weeks! With the weather being beautiful, Andy and I have been tilling areas around our house getting ready to plant! We'll probably start the seeds indoors until it gets warmer at nights, but we're excited to try a garden again.

So our happy place that we went to was...Disneyland! hah! I felt like a little kid again. I love everything about this place! My friend Rachel and her husband Josh and girl Lydia came to visit us, and for my birthday, I got in FREE. This is so awesome that Disneyland does this now. (They also gave me another free pass to use later). Many residents here have the SoCal resident pass which lets you go to Disneyland\Cali. Adventure for the price of about 2 tickets! So we're debating getting one. Andy unfortunately had to work, so we took pictures for him:) Maren had a great time, and even rode on Pirates of the Carribean.


So here is Maren completely exhausted from all the commotion going on all day!

Andy's family has a tradition of doing something called,'birthday week'. So for the week leading up to your birthday, you get something special each day! He had some surprises up his sleeve and each day I had something to look forward to!

And here's Maren standing-(below) she's so funny. She loves to stand on our laps, or anywhere she can. We feel like she has completely changed these past few weeks! Notice her little feet in her shoes, soooo cute eh?!
