It's been raining here off and on for a few days now. It's beautiful. Our plants are growing quickly. Andy and his friend built a 6.5 ft. trellis for our peas, and they've already started climbing up it.
I'm listening to Maren play in her room right now. She usually sings or plays until she's ready to fall asleep. Amazingly, she makes it to her bed before she does the latter. I remember waking up off the floor and having carpet marks on my cheeks. She helped me clean today. I'm CONSTANTLY looking around thinking about what cleaning I'm going to do when I get the chance(very strange and unhealthy). This makes conflicting thoughts go off in my head because we have a 2 year old who makes messes quickly! Ha! Our friends stopped in the other day and I initially was like, "HEY! Come on around back and we'll hang out in the back yard!" But they saw right through that and because they didn't care, we came into the living room and let them observe the collage of toys that decorated the floor. It was one of those times where you have to 'make a trail' to get from one side of the room to another! Thankfully, I think our friends will still be our friends:)
Andy's test results come out very soon for the PE. Because he took it back in October, we have been anxious to hear for a while. Whatever the results, he did great. I am starting to watch for the mailman though, which has been in vain so far. Does anyone else LOVE getting mail like I do?
I bought a jump rope today. I'm hoping I can get some variety in my exercise because I can't go running as much as I want at this time of year. But how much jump rope can you really stand? lol
Maren is starting to entertain Lauren, and it is awesome. It's funny how it naturally happens. She just knows how to make her laugh and what she likes to see. I feel like I can really relate with Lauren because I had an older sister too. I looked at my older sister as my idol, basically, and watched her and followed her all around the house. Lauren watches with mouth open wide whenever Maren speaks, moves, or whatever. It's pretty fun.
On a last note, the church just put up a new mormon message about 'not looking back.' What a cool thought. The video is really hip, funny, and the message is just perfect timing for the new year. You can go here to view it.... http://lds.org/pages/look-not-behind-thee?lang=eng
Anyways, have a great week everyone! Happy new year!
