Little things..

Change is good. We needed a change of scenery this week, so we visited the beach, and an arboretum. We had a great time!

Lauren LOVES the water, Maren LOVES the sand, so here's my experience these days when we go to the beach: Lauren pulling one arm towards the ocean, and Maren pulling the other arm towards the dry sand. (This usually involves crying and whining:) Oh well, it's only a matter of time I hope, that they'll like the whole package!

Here's a random pic of Maren 'waiting for Daddy'. About 30 min. before he gets home each day, she starts waiting. She'll usually last the whole time too. You can see Lauren's chair is usually empty, because she's got 'things to do'. :) I love to see Maren do this.

More pics from the beach. Maren's bike fits in our trunk, so it was easy to pack it in and out. We rode along the boardwalk, while she sang songs out-loud for passerby's to hear.

Here's Lauren and our friend Daniel. He and his mom came along for all the fun!

We ended up here at lunchtime. Wahoo's is delicious comida!

My mom comes this week to visit! We have every minute planned. Grandma time is long overdue!
